True victory is impossible without seeing things from God's point of view.
Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews, told Jesus, "…we know and are certain that You have come from God [as] a Teacher; for no one can do these signs (these wonderworks, these miracles - and produce the proofs) that You do unless God is with him. Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see, (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God." St. John 3:2b-3 [AMP] We have to understand that being born again is more than being reconnected to The Source of Life, being reconnected to Life Himself; it is also about being His hands here on earth, learning to do things in a way that brings God the honor and glory. Key to this is seeing others and life events in a different light.
It is choosing to look at the overall truth instead of personalizing the pain found in simply looking at the facts of the moment, to see things from the Truth, a perspective that allows healing and growth. This alone can release you from the control of unresolved pain and emotions, remember that Romans 8:1 tells us that there is no condemnation for those who follow the Spirit and not the flesh. A practical benefit of being born again is to see life and situations through the Blood of Jesus, gaining new revelation and insights into traumatic (and not so traumatic) events, both past and present which permits us to shift from weakness, hatred and confusion to power, love and a sound mind (see 2 Timothy 1:7).
