Jesus Sees You Too!

Luke 7:26-39 People are important to Jesus, not only the crowds but also the individuals who are the outcasts of society, the ones that no one else even wants to touch. Have you ever felt like you were everyone's reject? There was a man living in Gadara that must have felt like that. He lived like a wild man in the cemetery on the lakeshore. He wandered naked among the tombstones. The authorities had tried to lock him up, but he broke his chains and went back to the cemetery. The account says that he was full of demons. He was just the kind of person that most of us would have walked a long way around. Aren't you glad that that is not the way Jesus does it I believe that when the boat came ashore, Jesus already had it in mind to seek out this man. This was a man trapped inside of himself, aching to be set free with no one to help him. Jesus saw the pain of -the trapped man and there was not a demon in hell who could stand in the way of His setting the man free. Are you trapped, alone, rejected...? It doesn't ultimately matter what it is that has you in this condition, Jesus loves you just like He did the man in the cemetery and is wanting to set you free too. Jesus put the man in his right mind and the disciples pooled their resources and clothed him. Jesus still sets the captive free and we can still minister to one another.
