Colossians 1:9 "...since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding." Sound like a wonderful idea? You say just because Paul prayed, i t doesn't necessarily mean that's how it will happen. That's true, but, the problem may not be in the Lord or the prayer - maybe it's in the one prayed for. Could it be that you as the one prayed for has an obligation to submit to the work of the Holy Spirit? He will do nothing against your will - He's a gentleman. But, He is He willing to come and make you totally new - to make you into a vessel fit for the use of the King. Is it your desire to please Him? Because of the sin problem, it is just not possible - we are working for the wrong boss, we're members of the wrong kingdom. Let's, together, submit to Him and let Him make us into His Church, let His kingdom be exalted through us. Let us give notice to the devil that we're coming through and his gates will not stand!!!
