Romans 8:28-39 At a time when there seems to be anything but security, we need something that we can count on to always be there. Social Security benefits, food stamps, child support, medical benefits are rather shaky to say the least; but the love of God and all that it contains is more sure than the rising sun and the change of seasons. Our Scripture says that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. There is nothing that can stop God from loving us; nothing that this world can throw at us, nothing that Satan can dream up, not even you yourself can stop God from loving you. His love for you is unconditional, which means that there are no "ifs", "when's", or "excepts" attached. There are several questions asked: Who can really be against us if God is for us? If God gave the ultimate gift, His only Son", how will He not graciously give us all thing? Since God Himself justifies, declares us "not guilty", who is there that can bring a charge against us? Since Jesus died in order that our "debt" could be completely cancelled, who can pronounce us guilty and pass sentence on us? Who can separate us from God's love? Answer: No one!! In John 10:28&29, Jesus said that there was no one who could snatch us from either His hand or His Father's.
