"Micah 6:8 He has showed you, 0 man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Why does it always seem to be much easier to be on the receiving end of mercy than on the giving end? Yet that is the very characteristic that God would like us to show in our lives. Sometimes we treat it as a rare commodity that if we're not careful we might exhaust our supply. It's an interesting thing with God, that with mercy, love, forgiveness, etc. that the more we give it away the more there is left to give away. The fact is that God not only wants us to be merciful, but to love to be that way, to find excitement in showing mercy.
