Putting Our House in Order
II Cor. 10:3-5 The first order of business needs to take place in our personal prayer closets as we lay everything on the alter, letting the Holy Spirit sort and decide what is the good and the bad, the good and the better, the better and the best, what pleases Him and what merely pleases me, what builds up and what hinders, what is kind and what is selfish, what is God's assessment and what is Just plain pride, etc.
Secondly and probably parallel with this is getting our corporate house in order. To allow the Holy Spirit to help us to accomplish that task. As we keep in mind that it is the same Holy Spirit that energizes and leads each one, we will begin to find a unity of spirit within the body. The primary focus ought not to be: Are my wants being fulfilled? or even Are my needs being met? but Is the Lord pleased? am I being sensitive to the hurts and needs of the other members of the body? If that is our focus, we will find that our own needs will began to be met. Matt 6:33 "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Chains of bondage need to be broken; the chains with which we bind ourselves and allow ourselves to be bound with; and those with which we use to bind one another. John 8:32 "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free." The truth is: WE ARE FREE! John 8:36 "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We need to allow ourselves to be set free. We need to set each other free through forgiveness and releasing from the bondage we've placed upon one another.
