The Mighty Hand of God

Romans 11:33-36 & I Peter 5:5-9 Beloved, we serve an awesome God. Isn't it strange how often we try to come to His aid or defense when He hasn't acted the way or in the time frame that we set. One would think that we had an inside line on the way things really were, so much so that we could give God some lessons. Not many would voice such a thought in those words, but don't our actions and attitudes at times shout the same thing? It's time we repented of such thoughts and behavior. Romans 11:36 says: “... from Him and through Him and to Him are all things." And I Cor. 6:19f "...You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body." James 1:16 tells us "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." I Peter 5:5- 7 "All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand. that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." The scripture speaks for itself. God doesn't need instruction He needs to be submitted to and trusted, not for His sake but for ours.
